We are happy, pround and honoured to announce that PD Dr. Alexander Eggel and Dr. Daniel Brigger from our group together with Dr. Mario Noti (formerly University of Bern) have received the Vontobel Award for Research on Aging for their outstanding publication in Nature metabolism 2020 entiteled "Eosinophils regulate adipose tissue inflammation and sustain physical and immunological fitness in old age". We thank the the award committee from the Center for Gerontology of the University of Zurich who has been issuing this price in the name of the Vontobel Stiftung.
